I started this blog in 2007 with the intention of showing my Spanish friends what my American life is like...and it evolved into sharing with Americans what my life in Spain is about. I love my life!
This year as one of the lifts was out of order the wait to go back down was looooong! As I am a very impatient type I left my friends for a thirty some flight walk down the tower. I beat my husband by 25 minutes and let me tell you I had rubber band legs for several days after. Hats off to anyone that walks UP this structure.
I always thought of the Eiffel tower as a cheesy tourist attraction and never took the time to purchase a ticket to go up. It was so worth it! In fact it was probably my favorite part of this trip. This is the view from the 1st floor.
