World Trade Center Artifacts

Here is another powerful photo, I assume the two guns on display here belonged to NYPD officers who responded to the World Trade Center. The intensity of the heat is mind boggling. Hell the whole story is mind boggling....

World Trade Center

This is an airplane window recovered from the World Trade Center. I stood in front of this window and so many thoughts raced through my mind. Who was the last person to sit in this seat? A man or woman or child? Was it the first time they had ever flown? Did they have children waiting for them at an airport somewhere? I have more questions but suddenly feel so sad while typing this post I think I will leave it alone. I am reminded of President Obama's inaugural speech. "We will extend our hand if you will unclench your fist"
