Yesterday was the official first day of winter and it came in with a vengeance, and 9 inches of snow. Tomorrow Miguel leaves for Asturias, so we have time to dig out today! Interstate 70 was closed yesterday as a result of blizzard conditions and a 32 car pile-up. Can you imagine living through something like that? My thoughts are with all the travelers that suffered that experience. This evening we are going to a very good friends home for dessert and drinks. Tomorrow my hubby takes to the sky and the boys and I will spend Christmas eve at Grandpas eating rib eye steaks and baked potatoes and turtle cheesecake. Working in education doesn't pay very well but the days off are most agreeable! 17 days off baby! LIFE IS GOOD! LA BUENA VIDA! Sunday, December 23, 2007
